FRONTALIERS SABOTAGE

Saturday, October 17th from 9:00 PM everyone at the Teatro Nuovo in Cannobio for an evening of laughter!! Frontaliers Sabotage brings to the big screen the irony and paradoxes of a border world that our territory knows very well. At the heart of the film are the most beloved characters in the Frontaliers universe: Roberto Bussenghi, Loris J. Bernasconi, Verunell, and Amelie, protagonists of a comedy that plays with stereotypes, cultural differences, and constant misunderstandings between Italy and Switzerland.

The story begins with a threat as unlikely as it is irresistible: the taste of the renowned Swiss chocolate is in danger due to alleged Italian sabotage. To avoid catastrophe, a task force is established to carry out a secret mission in Italy. Of course, nothing will go as planned.

Behind the light and comical tone, the film also tells something very close to everyday life in frontier areas: commuting, working across borders, linguistic and cultural differences, but also shared habits and that familiarity of short distances and seemingly distant worlds.

A brilliant and popular comedy, capable of making people laugh by playing with the border and everything that crosses it every day.
